AWS cloud connection fails due to KMS key permissions
Symptoms
If restrictions (such as custom key policies) are applied to the KMS key, the AWS cloud connection fails.
Cause
AWS cloud connection fails because of KMS key permission issues.
Resolution
To fix the cloud connection issue, follow the steps below:

In the AWS console Key Management Service, select the respective KMS key to edit the key policy.

Edit the cloud connection and find the ARN role.

Add the cloud connection ARN role to the specified location and save the changes.

Click Sync now.
