Installing Additional Data Protection Agents on Commvault Remote Office Appliance RO1100

You can install additional client agents for your enterprise specific data protection requirements. You can use the console-based install capability through which software can be quickly and efficiently pushed to other client computers.

Client agents are software modules that perform data protection and data recovery operations for specific operating systems or applications.

Procedure

  1. From the Windows Start menu, click All Programs.
  2. From the list of programs, click Commvault > Commvault CommCell Console.
  3. On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Tools tab, click the arrow next to the Add/Remove Software icon and then click Install Software.

    The Install Wizard window appears. Follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

    When the installation job starts, you can track the progress of the job from the Job Controller window.

    • To open the window, click the Home tab from the CommCell Console ribbon, and then click Job Controller.
