Adding or Removing Databases For Synchronization
Critical databases needed by the CommServe server after a failover are included and replicated by the live sync operation. The non-critical databases are not included by design, to speed-up the replication process. If necessary, the non-critical databases can be added if it is needed to meet a specific requirement in your environment.
- On the CommCell Console ribbon, in the Home tab, click Control Panel.
The Control Panel dialog box appears.
- In the CommCell group, click CommServe LiveSync.
The CommServe LiveSync dialog box appears.
- Click Advanced.
- In the Failover Databases area, select the databases by moving them from the Available list to the Selected list. (The CVCloud, CommServ, and DM2 databases are included by default.)
- Click OK.
