List Media: Getting Started

  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers, then click client > agent.
  2. Right-click a backup set, then click All Tasks > Browse and Restore.

    Note: For Virtual Server agent, right-click the appropriate backup set, and then click Browse and Restore.

  3. Click List Media.
  4. Leave List Media for restore within specified time range selected to see media required to restore the data covered by the time range you are using.
  5. Select List Media containing index required for browse to see the media where the index required to browse the backed-up data is stored.
  6. Click OK.

    The required media appears in the Media dialog box.

  7. Select the data that you want to restore, and then click List Media and Size.
  8. Click OK.
