Application Class Virtual in the License Summary Report

The Application Class Virtual view of the License Summary Report displays usage details for the Application Class Virtual license, including each VM with an application package installed and any jobs that are not covered by a capacity license.

Where to Access the Report

To view this report, in the License Summary Report, in the Virtualization Licenses table under License, click Application Class Virtual.

Application Class Virtual VMs

The Protected Virtual Machines table displays each VM with the Application Class Virtual license is applied, the application packages installed on the VM, and whether the VM is protected by a recent backup job.

Column

Description

VM ID

The ID that is assigned to the virtual machine.

Virtual Machine

The virtual machine where application packages are installed.

Package

The type of application package installed on the VM.

Is VM Protected

An indication of whether the VM is protected by a recent backup job.

VM Protection Job

The number of jobs that ran on the VM.

Protected VM Size

The amount of data that was protected.

Organization ID

The ID that is assigned to the organization.

Organization

The organization that owns the client computer.

Plan

The plan that is associated with the hypervisor host.

Usages excluded from capacity because of Application Class Virtual license

The Usages excluded from capacity because of Application Class Virtual license table displays the size of jobs that run for license types, other than the capacity license, on the hypervisor hosts. If there are no other license types purchased, this table appears blank.

The ID of the license.

License

The type of license.

Job ID

The ID for the job that ran.

Job Type

The type of job that ran, such as Backup.

Client ID

The ID of the client computer.

Client

The client computer where the hypervisor host is located.

Agent ID

The ID of the agent type.

Agent

The type of agent.

Instance ID

The ID of the instance.

Instance

The type of hypervisor, such as VMware or Azure.

Backup Set ID

The ID of the backup set.

Backup Set

The backup set that is associated with the subclient.

Subclient ID

The ID of the subclient.

Subclient

The subclient that was backed up.

Storage Policy ID

The ID of the storage policy.

Storage Policy

The storage policy that is associated with the subclient.

Usage

The amount of data that was backed up.

For Protected VMs, the sum of guest sizes for each VM that was backed up under a subclient.

If a VM is backed up under two different subclients, then the software counts only the most recent backup job for the VM.

Organization ID

The ID of the organization.

Organization

The organization that owns the client computer.

Plan

The plan that is associated with the subclient and the storage policy.
