Recovering From Operating System Failures

The Remote Office Appliance RO1100 can be recovered when the operating system on the appliance becomes inoperable or inaccessible.

Procedure

  1. If required, procure new disk from your appliance vendor and attach it to the server.
  2. Configure the bootable USB drive to reimage the Remote Office Appliance RO1100.

  3. Reimage the Remote Office Appliance RO1100.

    For more information, see Re-Imaging the Remote Office Appliance RO1100.

  4. Depending on your requirement, install the Remote Office Appliance RO1100 with the CommServe and the MediaAgent or with MediaAgent only.
  5. Run the disaster recovery operation according to your environment:
