Getting Started with the Azure Active Directory Application

Review each of the topics to get started with the Azure Active Directory application.

Step 1: Obtain Your User Credentials to Access the Command Center

Obtain the following information from your backup administrator:

  • The Command Center URL
  • Your Command Center user credentials

If Command Center is not set up in your CommCell environment, contact your backup administrator to deploy Command Center. For more information, see Setting Up the Command Center.

Notes:

  • If you do not see the Active Directory tile on the Guided setup page of the command center, go to Manage > Customization > Navigation > Protect> Application > Active Directory.
  • If you are a tenant user, on the Guided setup page of the command center, go to Manage > Companies > Company Name > General > Supported Solutions.

Step 2: Configure Azure Active Directory Application

Configure the Azure AD application to back up the data that resides on the Azure Active Directory. For more information, see Configuring the Azure Active Directory Application.

Step 3: Perform Your First Backup and Restore

  1. Perform a backup.
  2. Perform a restore.
