Configuration for Oracle Database Application Migration to an Azure Resource Manager Instance
You must have an Azure account that contains Azure Virtual Machine images.
The following options are available for Azure Resource Manager instance creation:
- After you create an Azure virtual machine image, you can create an Azure Resource Manager instance.
- When you perform the migration, configure the Commvault software to create the instance.
For instructions about creating the Azure virtualization client in the Azure portal, see Setting Up an Application and Tenant for Azure Resource Manager.
Note: If you are using public Azure VM image, you will receive the following error during the package update:
[Errno 14] curl#58 - 'SSL peer rejected your certificate as expired'.
This is a bug. When using the Red Hat software, update the RHUI certificate from the Microsoft provided RPM.
For information about the resolution, go to the Red Hat Customer Portal, Unable to Connect to the Red Hat Update Infrastructure (RHUI) Server for Azure Updates.
