You can restore DynamoDB tables from any of the following backups:
- The most recent backup
- A backup from a specified date and time
You can also perform granular restores of individual tables or multiple tables in one or more regions or a complete region.
You can perform any of the following restore operations:
- Restore to the same cloud account
You can restore the selected tables to same region or to a different region on the same cloud account as the source table.
When you restore the tables in place, you restore it to the same path on the same cloud account from which the database was backed up.
The restore operation will overwrite the source tables on the database.
- Restore to a different cloud account
You can restore the selected tables to a different cloud account to any supported region on the destination account.
You can also restore the table with the same name or a different name to the destination region.
