Adding a Schedule in File Storage Optimization
You can add a schedule to a server so that data collection jobs for the file server data sources run according to the schedule.
After a data source is added to a server, the data collection job for the file server data source starts immediately. After the first data collection job, the data collection job runs according to the schedule.
- From the navigation pane, go to Activate.
The Activate page appears.
- Under Apps, click File Storage optimization.
The File storage optimization page appears.
- On the Servers tab, in the server row, in the Actions column, click the action button , and then click Details.
The server properties page appears.
- In the Configuration section, in the Schedule row, click Add.
The Add schedule dialog box appears.
- Adjust the schedule.
For example, schedule the data collection job to run every Sunday.
