Exact Keyword Match (Direct Query)

By default, search results include items that match your search query exactly and items that match keywords in your search query that have different word endings, such as -s, -es, and -ing. For example, when you perform a search using the query book, the search results include items that contain matches to book, as well as books and booking. If you only want to return exact matches, in this case only items that contain the exact word book, then you can configure exact matching on the Search Engine and use the dq prefix in the search query (dq:book).

Your administrator must have configured exact keyword matching on the Search Engine. Only data that was content indexed with this option configured will support exact keyword matching with the dq: prefix. For more information, see Configuring Exact Keyword Matching on Search Engines.
