Configuration - Notes Add-In

Configure Offline Archiving

Offline archiving creates a local copy of the stubbed emails on the end-user client computer. This allows them to access archived mails that meet the archiving criteria from the local stub cache database even if they are not connected to the Domino.

Once the Client Add-In has been installed, you can configure to run Offline Archiving operation. In order to run an Offline Archiving operation, you must first run an archive job from the CommCell Console.

  1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers | <Client> | Archive Set.
  2. Right-click the Subclient, and then click Properties.
  3. Select the Archiving Rules tab.
  4. Select the Enable all rules check box.
  5. Click the Stub Rule tab.
  6. Select Offline Archiving.
  7. Click OK.

Once the rules have been set, ensure that the end-user runs an Offline Archiving operation.
