Editing the Access Key of Amazon Using Array Management

When you create an Amazon account, the Commvault software automatically adds an entry of Amazon and its configuration information to the CommServe database.

If you need to change the credentials, use the Array Management application.

Note: For virtualization clients created in SP4 or later, creating the virtualization client automatically enables IntelliSnap for the client and configures Amazon as a storage array for IntelliSnap. You must enable IntelliSnap on the subclient to perform IntelliSnap backups for that subclient. For more information, see Enabling IntelliSnap Backup.

  1. From the CommCell Browser, click the Storage tab, and then click the Array Management icon.

The Array Management dialog box appears.

  2. Select an Amazon entry, and then click Edit.

The Array Properties dialog box appears.

  3. On the General tab, specify the following information:
    1. In the Credentials area, click Change.

The Enter the User Name and Password dialog box appears.

    2. In the User Name box, type the access key.
    3. In the Password and Confirm Password boxes, type the secret key, and then click OK.
  4. Click OK.
