Array Access Nodes Properties

You can add a MediaAgent to the selected MediaAgents list and make that MediaAgent an array access node that can perform operations on the storage array, including pruning.

If you do not want a particular MediaAgent to perform pruning on the storage array, clear the Pruning check box in the Roles table.

If you clear all Pruning check boxes, then the source client performs the pruning operations on the snapshots in the storage array.

Available MediaAgents

A list of available MediaAgents that can be configured as an array access node to perform operations on the storage array.

Selected MediaAgents

The MediaAgents that have been configured to perform operations on the storage array.

When an operation is to be performed on a storage array, the first MediaAgent in the Selected MediaAgents list will do so. If that MediaAgent is unavailable or is not configured to perform the operation, the request is sent to the next MediaAgent in the list, and so on.

Specifies whether an array access node can perform the pruning operation on the array.

When selected, the MediaAgent can perform pruning operations on the storage array.
