Configuring a Tool to Be Available for Other Users

By default, tools are only visible to the user who created them. You can configure a tool to be available for all users in the CommCell or for some users and user groups.


  1. Right-click the client or job associated with the tool and click Tools > Customize tools.

    The Quick Access Tools dialog box appears.

  2. Click the tool that you want to configure and then click Edit.

    The Edit Tool dialog box appears.

  3. On the Security tab, click Public.

    By default all users and user groups have access to the tool. To limit access to the tool, click Add and add the users and user groups who need access to the tool.

  4. Click OK.
