Restoring the InterSystems Caché Database Server

Use this procedure to restore the InterSystems Caché database server.

Before You Begin

  • Shut down the InterSystems Caché database.

Procedure

The Browse and Restore Options dialog box is displayed.

  5. Expand the backup set and select the virtual machines that contain the InterSystems Caché database.

Its entire contents are displayed in the right pane.

  6. Click Recover All Selected.

Avoid in-place restores unless you intend to replace an existing virtual machine.

  9. Click in the Change VM display name to column and enter a new name for the virtual machine.
