Updating the Version on a Workflow Job
If a workflow is modified and re-deployed to a newer version, you can update the active jobs for the workflow to the new version.
- The current running activity must exist with the same unique name in the updated workflow. This is required so that the workflow job can resume from the current activity.
- Only update the version for active jobs when there are small changes to the workflow, such as changing the content of the emails or changing the expression for IF conditions.
- From the CommCell Console ribbon, on the Home tab, click the Job Controller icon.
- Right-click the running workflow job that you want to update and click Update Version.
The workflow is updated to the latest version.
