NAS Restore Enabled
Specifies whether the NAS Restore Enabler was installed with the iDataAgent.
- YES indicates that the enabler is installed and the client is an available destination for the restore of data from a Network Attached Storage (NAS) client.
- NO indicates that the enabler is not installed and the client is not an available destination for the restore of data from a NAS client.
Select this option to enable archiving for the agent. Once selected a license will be consumed.
Honor Archiver Retention
Select this option to retain archived data based on the retention days configured on a storage policy copy. A new index cycle is created automatically each year when you enable this option. Once you enable this option, you cannot disable it later. Note that synthetic full backups are not supported with this option.
Enable Recall Driver
Select this option to enable Recall Driver for stub recalls.
Stub Recovery Parameters
Specifies whether to enable recall throttling for stub recovery jobs. Selecting this option will allow you to control the number of stub recovery jobs that can be run based on the limits set below. When these options are disabled in the CommCell Console, the system will apply any legacy additional settings corresponding to these options, where applicable.
It is recommended not to recall more stubs than the limit specified under the Maximum Stub Recovery for Celerra Proxy as it does not detect failure and the data is lost.
- Maximum Stub Recovery
Enter the maximum number of stubs that you want to recover in the time window that is specified in the Time between recall to count as successive in seconds box. You can enter any value greater than 0.
- Time between recall to count as successive in seconds
Enter the time in seconds to perform the maximum number of recalls that is specified in the Maximum Stub Recovery box. When this time window is reached, the stub recalls that can occur before the next time window starts will fail.
Note: The Time between recall to count as successive in seconds is a rolling time period.
- Time to wait after maximum successive recalls limit is reached in seconds
Enter the number of seconds that the software must wait before a new stub recovery operation can begin after the maximum number of files have been recalled in the time window that you specified in the Time between recall to count as successive in seconds box.
Use this field to enter a description about the entity. This description can include information about the entity's content, cautionary notes, etc.
Save As Script
Click to open the Save As Script dialog, which allows you to save this operation and the selected options as a script file (in XML format). The script can later be executed from the Command Line Interface using qoperation execute command.
When you save an operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding XML parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters.
