Acquiring a PIN Using Email
To obtain the PIN by email, log on to the CommCell environment and provide your user name and password. This triggers an email that includes the PIN after your login fails.
Before You Begin
Two-Factor Authentication must be enabled by the administrator.
- Open the interface you want to log on to.
For example, go to the Web Console site.
- Enter your login credentials, and then click OK.
Your login fails because Two-Factor Authentication is enabled.
- Click OK to close the Login Error message.
Immediately after the message is displayed, an email is sent to you with the PIN required to log on to the CommCell environment.
- Open the email and copy the One Time Pin.
This is a one time PIN valid for the next 30 minutes.
