Assigning Permissions to Owners at the Client Level

To assign permissions at a more granular level for client owners of a specific client computer, assign the permissions at the client computer level. This is useful if you have assigned basic permissions (such as Browse and View) at the CommCell level and you want to assign more client owner permissions to specific clients.

  1. From the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computers.
  2. Right-click the client and then click Properties.

    The Client Computer Properties dialog box is displayed.

  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Click the Owners tab.
  5. Click Add.

    The Owner Permissions dialog box is displayed.

  6. From the Permissions list, select the permissions to assign as security rights.

    Tip: To include all permissions, select the All Permissions check box.

  7. Click OK.
