Configuring an Oracle Client for IntelliSnap
Configure the client for IntelliSnap operations.
Before You Begin
For OCFS volumes, if yum is not available, you need the OCFS tools package (ocfs2-tools.rpm) from Oracle. You must also configure the o2cb cluster stack by running the
o2cb.init configure command on each node of the cluster.
- From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers.
- Right-click the client, and then click Properties.
The Client Computer Properties dialog box appears.
- Click Advanced.
The Advanced Client Properties dialog box appears.
- Select the Enable IntelliSnap check box.
- From the Available Snap Engines list, select the appropriate engine.
For information about how to configure the engine, see Supported Storage Arrays and Engines.
