Modifying a Data Classification Plan
You can modify the properties of a data classification plan. For example, you can change the entities associated with a plan.
You can edit information in the following sections:
- Advanced options
- Content indexing
- Entity detection
Note: The software only detects the selected entities for end-user data requests and projects that use this plan. If you remove an entity type, those entities are not available for projects and inventories associated with the plan. - From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Plans.
The Plans page appears.
- In the Plan name column, click the plan that you want to configure.
The plan details page appear.
- In the appropriate section, click Edit.
The edit pane appears.
- Update the options.
- Click Save.
What to Do Next
If you change the entities associated with a data classification plan, you must run a data collection job to update the data with the new entity information.
