Registering the OneDrive for Business Application
You must register the OneDrive for Business application with Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Azure AD). Azure AD manages the connection between the OneDrive for Business application and the Commvault software.

Information to Gather for This Procedure
To complete this procedure, you need the following information:
- Your tenant name and ID
- The global admin user account information
Information to Record During This Procedure
When you perform this procedure, record the following values for the OneDrive for Business application. You will use these values when you configure your Commvault environment.
- Application ID
- Key value
- Directory ID
- Access the Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com/) using your global admin user account.
- In the Azure dashboard, in the left navigation pane, click Azure Active Directory.
- On the preview screen, click App registrations.
- Click New application registration to create a new application.
- On the Create blade, do the following:
- In the Name box, type a name for the application.
- From the Application Type box, select Web app / API.
- In the Sign-on URL box, type the homepage URL http://localhost:1234.
- Click Create.
- Click the application display name, and then record the Application ID.
- On the Settings > Properties blade, set Multi-tenanted to Yes, and then click Save.
- On the Settings > Keys blade, type the description and an expiration date for the new key, click Save, and then record the value of the new key.
- Select the required APIs, and then grant them permissions:
- On the Settings > Required Permissions blade, click Add.
- On the Add API access blade, click Select an API.
- On the Select an API blade, select the API Microsoft Graph, and then click Select.
- On the Enable Access blade under Application Permissions, select the following three permissions, and then click Save:
- Read directory data
- Read all users' full profiles
- Read and write files in all site collections
- On the Required permissions blade, click Grant Permissions, and then click Yes in the message that appears.
- On the Azure Active Directory > Properties blade, locate and record the value in the Directory ID box.
