Viewing the Admin Console in an iFrame

To view the Admin Console in an iFrame, additional settings must be added on the Admin Console computer. After you add the additional setting, you can link to individual pages of the Admin Console in an iFrame, from a third-party application. For example, to link to the Applications page on the Admin Console, add the URL as follows:

where:

  • hostname is the hostname of the computer where the Admin Console is installed
  • id must be webConsoleIFrame

Procedure

  1. To the Admin Console computer, add the disableSameOrigin additional setting as shown in the following table:

  2. To hide the Admin Console navigation pane and header bar, do one of the following:
    • To hide the navigation pane and header bar in the iframe and to display them when users access the Admin Console directly, add the noFrame=true query parameter to the end of the Admin Console URL:

      http://hostname:port/adminconsole/app.do?noFrame=true

    • To hide the navigation pane and header bar in the iframe and when users access the Admin Console directly, to the Admin Console computer, add the additional settings as shown in the following table:

  3. Restart the Tomcat services on the Admin Console computer.
