Setting Navigation Preferences

You can customize what users see in the navigation menu.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, expand Administration > Customization, and then click Navigation.

    The Navigation preference page appears.

    Tip: On the Navigation preference page, to expand or collapse all of the navigation nodes, click the plus (+) or minus (-) icon in the first cell of the table.

  2. To configure the navigation preferences for an individual company, click the Company list and then select the company name.
  3. To hide a navigation item, in the appropriate user persona column, clear the check box for that item.

    For example, to prevent CommCell users from seeing the Configuration node and all of the configuration sub-nodes, in the CommCell user column, clear the check box for Configuration.

  4. To display a navigation item, in the appropriate user persona column, select the check box for that item.
  5. In the upper right, click Save.

    To reset the page to the default values, click Reset to default.
