Changing a Stand-Alone User Account

Applies to: Exchange 2007 or later, and IntelliSnap

If your Exchange user account changes, you must update your user account information so that backups do not fail.


  1. From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client.
  2. Right-click Exchange Database, and then click Properties.

    The Exchange Database Properties dialog box appears.

  3. Click Change Account.

    The User Name and Password dialog box appears.

  4. In the User Name box, type the Active Directory user account.
  5. In the Password box, type the password for the AD user account, and then reenter it in the Confirm Password box.
  6. Click OK.
