Getting Started for New Installations of SAP Archive Link
To implement the SAP Archive Link solution for the SAP Archive software using the Commvault ObjectStore, complete the following tasks:
Step 1: Configure an ObjectStore
For more information, see Configuring an ObjectStore.
Note the user name and password for the ObjectStore account, and the host name of the Web Server.
Step 2: Install the SAP Archive Link Agent
For more information, see Installing the SAP Archive Link Agent.
Step 3: Configure the SAP Archive Link Client
For more information, see Configuring the SAP Archive Link Client for SAP Archiving Interface.
Step 4: Link the SAP Archiving Interface to the SAP Archive Link Client
For more information, see Linking the SAP Archiving Interface to SAP Archive Link.
After the setup is complete, the SAP Archive link client forwards the SAP archive data to the <ObjectStore> using REST APIs. The <ObjectStore> user can view the <ObjectStore> as an Edge Drive on the Web Console, and can perform browse, restore, and other end user operations on the data.
