Why is the Enable Plug-In option unavailable?
The Explorer Plug-In is only available on clients installed as Laptops or File System clients. The Enable Explorer Plug-In option does not appear on the Plug-Ins tab if you have CommServe or MediaAgent software installed on your computer.
Can I use the command line to enable the Explorer Plug-In?
The GUI-based approach described in Explorer Plug-In - Enable Plug-In is preferred because it takes care of some behind-the-scenes details required to make the feature function correctly.
Can I find out the backup time of my restored data?
Yes. Right-click the backed-up item and click Properties. The Edge tab shows the Backup Size and Last Backup Time for that item.
Why is my file on disk not restored when I perform an in-place restore?
By default, Edge > Restore overwrites a file that is already in the location you are restoring to, but if you clear the Overwrite Existing Files/Folders option when using Edge > Restore, the file does not get restored because it cannot replace the copy that is already on disk. Note: With respect to versions, when restoring versions of files, if you want to ensure that a newer version of a file that is on your disk does not get overwritten by an older version from the backup, clear the Overwrite Existing Files/Folders option, which is selected by default.
