Adding Folders for Automatic Upload Using Edge Drive Uploader Tool
You can add one or more folders to the Edge Drive Uploader tool. When you add a folder to the Edge Drive Uploader tool, all the files and sub-folders in the folder are uploaded automatically to your Edge Drive. Later, any changes that you make to the files in the folder are automatically updated in the Edge Drive location. However, files that you delete from the folder are not removed from your Edge Drive.
Also, you can also define filters to exclude specific files and folders from being uploaded to the Edge Drive. For more information on defining filters, see Configuring Filters for Automatic Upload.
Before You Begin
Sign in to your Edge Drive Uploader tool. For instructions, see Access the Tool.
- From the Notification area, double-click the upload icon .
Alternatively, you can right-click the upload icon and select Settings.
The Edge Uploader tool window appears.
- Click Add Folder, and then select the folders that you want to upload.
- Optional: To change the upload path on your Edge Drive, click Edit Cloud Path, and then select the destination folder on your Edge Drive.
- Click Save.
