IntelliSnap Recovery Manager (IRM) - Hardware Revert

Use the following steps to successfully revert the entire LUN back to the point-in-time recovery.

  1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers| <Client> | File System | defaultBackupSet

    Right-click the subclient and then click List Snaps.

  2. Select and right-click the time and the IntelliSnap job you wish to restore the LUN back to the point in time and then select Use hardware revert capability if available.

  3. Type Confirm and then click OK.

  4. Once completed, the LUN will have been reverted back to the point in time the data was protected and a successful message will be displayed.

    Click OK.

    Click Close to close the Snaps created during IntelliSnap operation dialog box.

    Since you are utilizing a Hardware Revert functionality, all data on that LUN will be restored back to the point in time of when the data was protected. Ensure that this is what you are trying to achieve before you proceed with this method.
