Why does the tab for Explorer Plug-in not appear on machines having CommServe or MediaAgent installed?
- Certain configuration changes and operations require rebooting the computer on which the plug-in is installed. CommServe and MediaAgent hosts should not be rebooted for such purposes, as doing so can affect critical operations.
- Recalling data with Explorer Plug-in is an end-user operation. CommServe and MediaAgent hosts are maintained by administrators, who would not be expected to use that functionality.
