Configuring the Additional Setting for ACFS Support for the Windows File System Agent

To use ACFS Support on Windows File System, configure the EnableRamDiskAndOracleACFSSupport additional setting on your client computer.


  1. On the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client.
  2. Right-click the client on which you want to add the additional setting, and then click Properties.
  3. In the Client Computer Properties dialog box, click Advanced.
  4. In the Add Additional Settings dialog box, enter the details for the additional setting:
    1. In the Name box, type EnableRamDiskAndOracleACFSSupport.
    2. In the Category box, type or select Machines\[Client]\FileSystemAgent.
    3. In the Type box, select String.
    4. In the Value box, type 1.
    5. Click OK to close the Add Additional Settings dialog box.
  5. Click OK to close the CommServe Properties dialog box.
