Performing File System Backups

Back up your file system data.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.

   The Overview page appears.

2. Go to the File servers tab, and then click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. Go to the Subclients tab.

4. In the Actions column for the subclient, click the action button , and then click Backup.

   The Backup dialog box appears.

5. Under Backup options, select the backup type.

6. Optional: To receive Email and CommCell Console alert notifications when the backup operation completes, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

7. Click Submit.

8. Optional: To view the job details, click View job details.
