Replicating Data Between AWS Outposts, AWS Regions, and On-Premises

Commvault supports replication of data between the primary systems, and to the disaster recovery locations.

File System Replication

You can perform incremental replication from the backup of a file system client to a destination client computer. As soon as a backup operation completes, replication replicates all the data that was backed up from the source computer to the destination computer.

PostgreSQL Replication (CommCell Console)

The replication feature synchronizes the master PostgreSQL server to a standby PostgreSQL server by replicating logs from the backup of the master server to a synced standby server. The replication operation continuously applies log files from the master database backups since the last sync point.

DB2 Replication (CommCell Console)

The replication operation replicates backups of a DB2 database to a synced copy of the database. A replication operation is automatically triggered when any kind of backup of the source (primary) DB2 database is made. This automatic operation keeps the replicated target database in sync with the source database, up to the time when the most recent replication operation completes.

Oracle Replication

You can use replication to perform incremental replication from a backup of an Oracle database to a synced copy of the Oracle database. The replication operation continuously applies changes from the source database backups since the last sync point.

The replication feature enables incremental replication from a backup of an Oracle RAC database to a synced copy of the Oracle RAC database. The replication operation continuously applies changes from the source database backups since the last sync point.
