Array Management

You can use Array Management to perform the following operations:

• Add a storage array and its configuration information to the CommServe database, so that you can manage the array in the CommCell Console. For instructions, see Adding a Storage Array to The CommServe Database.

• Edit the following storage array properties:

  • User credentials or description: For instructions, see Editing the User Credentials or Description of a Storage Array.

  • Array access nodes: For instructions, see Configuring Array Access Nodes of a Storage Array.

  • Snapshot Property Configuration: Read about Snapshot Properties.

  • Security: For instructions, see User Administration and Security Overview.

• Delete a storage array from the CommServe database: For instructions, see Deleting a Storage Array.

• View a list of snapshots created by a storage array: For instructions, see Viewing the Snapshots of a Storage Array.

• Reconcile the snapshots of a storage array: For instructions, see Reconciling the Snapshots of a Storage Array.
