You can use an existing storage policy or create a new one. If you create a new storage policy, you can select the library where you want the data to be written, including libraries on the MediaAgent or other file servers.
Procedure
- 
From the CommCell Browser, expand Policies.

Right-click Storage Policies, and then select New Storage Policy. 
- 
Create a Data Protection and Archiving storage policy by following the prompts displayed in the Storage Policy Wizard.

From the CommCell Browser, expand Client Computers > client > NDMP > defaultBackupSet. 
- 
Right-click the default subclient, and then click Properties. 
- 
On the Storage Device tab, in the Storage Policy box, select your storage policy.

Optional: On the Data Access Nodes tab, to use proxy computers, select data access nodes: - 
To add a node, under Available Data Access Nodes, select one or more node from the list, and then click Add.

To add all nodes as proxy computers, click Add All. 
- 
To change the precedence of the nodes, under Selected Data Access Nodes, select a node, and then click the up and down arrows.
