Configuring theTintri VMstore Storage Array Using Array Management

For IntelliSnap backups from the Commvault software, add the Tintri VMstore storage array and configuration information to the CommServe database.

Procedure

1. On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Storage tab, and then click Array Management.

2. On the Array Management dialog box, click Add.

   The Array Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the General tab, specify the following information:

   1. From the Snap Vendor list, select Tintri VMstore.

   2. In the Name box, enter the Management IP.

   3. In the Credentials area, click Change.

      The Enter the User Name and Password dialog box appears.

   4. Type the credentials of a user who has access to the array.

   5. Click OK.

4. To configure additional MediaAgents to perform operations on the storage array, click the Array Access Nodes tab, and then select configuration options.

5. If you have a datastore data IP, click the Snap Configuration tab, and then in the Array Host Aliases box, type the data IPs.

6. On the Snap Configuration tab, configure the snapshot configuration properties for your environment or use the default values.

7. Click OK.
