You can configure connectivity to the CommServe computer using a network gateway during a remote installation using the CommCell Console.
Before You Begin
You must open some network ports. For more information, see Review Firewall and Network Port Requirements.
Procedure

On the Network Route Configuration page of the installation wizard, select the There is Firewall between Client machine and CommServe check box, and then click CommServe is reachable only through proxy.

From the Proxy client name list, select the client name of the Commvault network gateway.

Click Next to continue with the client installation.
