Add an instance and a cloud account for Google Cloud BigQuery.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.
The Overview page appears.

In the upper-right corner, click Add instance, and then select Cloud database service.
The Add Cloud DB Instance page appears.

Select vendor as Google Cloud and then click Next.
The Configure Google Cloud Database page appears.

Select database service as BigQuery and click NEXT.
The Configure Google Cloud Database - BigQuery page appears.

In the Select a Plan section, choose whether to use a base plan or create a new backup plan, as follows:

Select an existing base plan from the list.

To create a new backup plan, do the following:

Click the add button
.
The Create backup plan dialog box appears.

Enter a name for the backup plan in the Plan name field.

Select storage from the Storage list.
-
Select a retention plan from the Retention rules list.

Click Next.
The Cloud Account page appears.

Choose whether to use an existing cloud account or create a new account, as follows:

Select a cloud account from the Cloud Account list.

To create a new cloud account, do the following:
-
Click the add button
.
The Add cloud account dialog box appears.

Enter a name for the account in the Name field.

Select a saved credential from the Credential list, or click the add button
to add a credential, as follows:

In Account type, the cloud account is selected by default.

In Vendor type, the Google Cloud is selected by default.

In Authentication type, the service account is selected by default.

In the Credential name field, enter the name of the credential.

In the Service Account ID field, enter the Google Cloud Service Account ID.

For JSON file path, select the JSON file for service account authentication that you downloaded when you created the GCP service account for the associated project.

Click Save.

From the Access node list, select the access node to use for the cloud account.

Click Save.

Click Next.
The Configure Google Cloud Database - BigQuery page appears.

In the Instance field, the selected cloud account is displayed.

From the Project list, select a project.

Optional. Move the Automatically select staging path toggle key to right to define the staging bucket path automatically.

If you do not select Automatically select staging path, in the Staging bucket path field, enter the location to use for staging backups of the instance.

Click Next.
The Backup Content page appears.

In the Backup Content section, browse and select datasets and tables of the selected cloud project.

Click Next.
The Summary page appears.

Click Finish.
