Restore Capabilities

Note

Commvault supports pgvector extension for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL. The destination instance should also have pgvector extension in case of Out-of-Place restore.

Type of capability	Detailed information
Time periods from which you can restore data	From the most recent backup. From a specific date or time.
Destinations that you can restore data to	In-place: Restore data to the location from which it was backed up. Out-of-place: Restore data to the following different destinations: An instance running in the same or a different cloud service provider (such as Amazon, Google, Alibaba, Azure) across regions. An on-premises instance.
