Associating a Backup Plan with a SQL Database

If you have a database with unique RPO or SLA objectives, then you can create a backup plan and associate it with a SQL database.

Before You Begin

Create a backup plan. For more information, see Creating a Backup Plan.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The Overview page appears.

2. Click the Databases page.

   The Databases page appears.

3. In the row for the database that you want to associate with a backup plan, click the action button , and then click Manage plan.

   The Manage plan dialog box appears.

4. From the Plan list, select the backup plan.

5. Click Save.
