Description |
---|---|

Create safe-point snapshot before revert |
Applies to: Revert operation only. When selected, a safe-point snapshot of the source disk is created before the revert operation. The default setting is selected. When selected and the revert operation fails, the system uses the safe-point snapshot to get back to the original state by restoring the original disk. Safe-point snapshots are deleted after the revert operation, even if the revert operation doesn't succeed. If the system doesn't automatically delete the safe-point snapshot, then you can manually delete the snapshot from the Google Cloud console. Caution When this check box is clear, revert failures might result in deleted disks and there may be no way to get back the original disk. |
Number of threads to use for processing snapshots in parallel |
Applies to: Backup operation and revert operation. Specifies the number of threads for processing disks in parallel during the revert operation. The default is number is 8. One thread is allocated per disk. If there are more disks than threads, the extra disks will be processed when threads become available. |
