Trend Micro® Deep Security Agent v9.5.5623 AV Settings for OnePass for Windows File System

Trend Micro® Deep Security Agent v9.5.5623 can be configured on computers or virtual machines that have OnePass for Windows File System Agent installed. The anti-virus software scans the archived files and folders available on the server. Agentless configurations are not supported.

Use this procedure on computers that have installed OnePass for Windows File Agent.

Procedure

  1. Make sure that you install the Trend Micro Deep Security Agent on computer or virtual machines that have OnePass for Windows File System Agent installed.

  2. Use the following steps and add the registry keys ExcludeProcess 1 and ExcludeProcess2 with values set to coreServiceShel and coreServiceShe respectively.

    1. Start Registry Editor on the client computer.

    2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\cvmhsm\Parameters\.

    3. Right-click Parameters, point at New, and click String value.

    4. In the Value name box, type ExcludeProcess1.

    5. In the Value data box, type coreServiceShel, and click OK.

    6. Right-click Parameters, point at New, and click String value.

    7. In the Value name box, type ExcludeProcess2.

    8. In the Value data box, type coreServiceShe, and click OK.

  3. Open the Deep Security Manager (DSM) console, click the Exclusions tab and specify the following selections:

    1. On the Exclusions tab, select the Directory List check box and click Edit. The Directory Exclusions Properties dialog box appears.

    2. In the Directory Exclusions Properties dialog box, add the following directories:

      • Commvault installation directory

      • Gxhsmcache directory

      • Job Results directory

    3. Click OK.

    4. Select the File List check box and click Edit. The File Exclusions Properties dialog box appears.

    5. In the File Exclusions Properties dialog box, add the following files:

      • Cvd.exe

      • Clbackup.exe

      • Ifind.exe

      • Gxhsmservice.exe

      • Gxhsmstub.exe

      • EvMgrC.exe

      • Clmgrs.exe

      • clRestore.exe

    6. Click OK.
