Commvault Console - Creating Values for Entity Tags

You can add values to an entity tag.

Before You Begin

• To manage entities, you must be a CommCell admin on the service CommCell.

• Create the required entity tag for which you want to add values.  

Procedure

1. From the Global Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Config blueprint > Entity tags.

   The Entity tags page appears with a list of existing tags.

2. Click the name of the entity tag for which you want to add values.

   The tag page appears.

3. On the Tag values tab, click Add.

   The Add tag value dialog box appears.

4. For Value, enter the tag value, and then click Add.

What to Do Next

Select the tag value while associating an entity with the entity tag.
