Getting Started with the HPE Alletra Storage MP / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 Storage Array

To set up the HPE Alletra Storage MP storage array, the HPE Primera storage array, HPE Alletra 9000 Series, or HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 storage array, review system requirements, and then add the array in the Commvault software. Then you can modify the snapshot properties.

Procedure

1. Verify that your environment meets the IntelliSnap - System Requirements for HP 3PAR/ Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000

2. Review the Considerations for the HPE Alletra Storage MP / Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 Storage Array

3. Add the storage array in the CommCell Console. For information, see Configuring the HP 3PAR/ Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 Array Using Arrays page.

4. To customize the array to your environment, you can modify the properties that control snapshot operations. See Editing the Properties of the HP 3PAR/ Primera / HPE Alletra 9000 Series / HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 Array.
