A Hadoop cluster must be configured in Commvault.

The Hadoop master node configured in Commvault must be a Kudu node (either a Kudu master or a Kudu tablet server).
User Permissions in Cloudera

For Cloudera 5.x versions, remove the HDFS user information from the blacklist of YARN configuration. Removing the HDFS user information is not required for Cloudera 6.x versions.

Cloudera 7.x is supported for Hadoop and its applications.
