Assigning Unique Identification Tags to Oracle RAC Backups

You can assign unique identification tags for all backup operations from a specific subclient. These tags can be used during a restore operation to easily identify a particular backup.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Browser, navigate to Client Computers | <Client> | Oracle | <Instance>.

2. Right-click the<Subclient>and click Properties.

3. on the Advanced Backup Options dialog, navigate to the Backup Arguments tab.

4. In the Oracle Tag box, enter the tag name.

5. Click OK.
