Configuring Clients, User Groups, and Permissions in a Client Computer Group for the VSA with VMware

Perform these steps to configure a client computer group for vSphere administrators:

1. In the CommCell Browser, go to Client Computer Groups.

2. Right-click a client group and select Properties.

3. On the General tab, select clients from the All clients list and click Include to assign the clients to the group.

4. On the Security tab:

   1. Click Add.

   2. Set permissions:

      • To inherit the permissions assigned to a user group, select the user group from the top list and click Add to associate the client computer group with the user group.

      • To use role-based permissions, select the role from the Role list.

   3. Click OK.

5. Click OK.
