Copying Full Cycle Jobs

Use SelectAdditionalJobs qscript to select additional non-full jobs for a selective copy.

Procedure

1. At the command prompt, navigate to <software installation directory>\Base on the CommServe computer.

2. Log on to the CommServe computer.

   C:\$[software installation directory]\Base> qlogin -cs $[server1] -u $[user1]
    Password:
    User logged in successfully.
   

3. Run the following command.

    
   C:\$[software installation directory]\Base> qoperation execscript –sn $[SelectAdditionalJobs] –si $[storage_policy_name] -si $[storage_policy_copy_name] -si $[Backup_Types]

   The following are valid values for the backup types:

   • 0, to disable the selection of additional jobs

   • 1, to include differential jobs

   • 2, to include all non-full jobs
