Starting with Feature Release 11.20, the Commvault command line interface (cvc) browse operation validates the ACLs present on the index against the user performing the browse and restore operations. To skip the permission validation check for the items that are backed up in previous feature releases, you must add an additional setting.
Procedure

To the MediaAgent computer, add the ACL_BACKWARD_COMPATIBILITY additional setting as shown in the following table.
